NEW YORK - Singer/songwriter Ryan Adams will end his extended break from the road with a 12-date European tour, beginning June 10 in Stockholm.
The dates will feature Adams performing solo acoustic, and mark his first concerts of any kind since he suddenly dissolved his band the Cardinals in 2009.
According to an email update from the artist's own Pax-Am Records, Adams is also in the studio with legendary producer Glyn Johns (The Who, the Rolling Stones) on his first new album since 2008's "Cardinology."
Although Adams has largely been off the radar since 2009, he has released some music. In May 2010, a metal-leaning album called "Orion" came out through Pax-Am, while in December, Adams released "III/IV," attributed to the Cardinals. That double-disc collection featured previously unheard material recorded during 2006 sessions that produced the album "Easy Tiger."
Adams married fellow singer/songwriter Mandy Moore in March 2009.
