2017 Beijing World Women's Curling Championship

Sponsored by World Curling Federation and jointly organized by Winter Sports Administration Centre of General Administration of Sports of China and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, 2017 Beijing World Women's Curling Championship will be held at Capital Gymnasium during March 18 to 26. As the highest level of world women's curling championship expect for Olympic Winter Games, the event is held every year. 12 world-class national teams will compete in the event, which presents high competitiveness and ornamental value. Following the first success in World Men's Curling Championship in Beijing, Beijing organizes World Women's Curling Championship again, which further improves the integral level and strength of China women's curling sports, promotes popularization and development of Olympic Winter Games sports, drives people's enthusiasm in participation, create strong Olympic atmosphere, and positively contributes to preparation for 2022 Beijing Olympic Winter Games.
