The Qing Dynasty artist Huang Shanshou (1855-1919) is a popular painter at auctions in China. He devoted all his life to creating art, leaving several Chinese painting masterpieces. His work is gorgeous but elegant. The picture above shows five children playing with firecrackers during the Chinese New Year.
