The festival opens with a performance by dancers from the National Ballet of China, including Ma Xiaodong and Wang Ye, and American Ballet Theater principal dancer Isabella Boylston and Boston Ballet principal dancer Paulo Arrais.

The choir will perform a variety of pieces, ranging from classical, folk to Broadway music in its concerts, Music of the Masters.
Other art troupes from the US will include the Georgia Boy Choir, the William and Mary Wind Ensemble and the Richmond Ballet.
