An exhibition is underway at the Shenyang Palace Museum presenting treasures related to Cixi, including items she used like a fruit dish, horologe, along with her perfume, calligraphy and paintings.
According to the newspaper Huashang Morning News, Cixi loved her dogs very much and would prepare warm clothes for her dogs every year in advance before the winter season. The clothes on display were some of the clothes worn by her pets.
