Charity event to celebrate World Book Day

China Daily is inviting its readers to join the Enjoy Reading, Enjoy Life cultural charity event on April 23 to celebrate the 19th World Book Day.
Reading has always had a place in society as a learning tool. It holds valuable lessons that can advance a person in various aspects of life, as long as reading remains a part of one’s daily activities.
Many diplomats, industry elite and celebrities have agreed to grace the occasion with their presence. All participants will be eligible for the World Book Day lucky draw and seats are limited so sign up now!
By hosting this event, China Daily hopes to encourage more readers to explore the pleasures of reading, and also to improve and strengthen the special bond the newspaper has with its readers.
The opening ceremony will only be the beginning. There is a whole host of activities scheduled for the event.
