Zhang Jinquan
Born in 1942 in Xuyong county, Sichuan province, he was the chairman of the Liupanshui Calligrapher Association before retirement. Now, as a first level national calligrapher, he is the honorary president of the Chinese Calligraphy Artists Association, vice chairman of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artists Association, a researcher at China Sinology Seminar, and a member of the standing committee of the China Art Academy.
He published his monography Calligraphies of Zhang Jinquan. He took part in the Chinese Art and Culture Exchange Exhibition in Paris in 2005 and a high-quality painting exhibition between China and Japan held in Tokyo in 2010.
