Zheng Yuanjie (DOB: June 15, 1955) is a Chinese fairy tale writer. His first issue – a children's literature magazine "King of Fairy Tales" was published in 1984. Cartoon characters from his works including Pipilu, Luxixi, Shuke, Beta and Luoke are well known among Chinese children. Zheng was the richest Chinese writer in 2012.
