An artist has set out to show audiences what's really under his skin with his elaborate anatomical body illustrations.
Painting life-like muscles and ligaments across human skin, Danny Quirk's recreation of the human body opened up, shows that beauty is more than skin deep.
Danny's unique body art is created by applying liquid latex on to the skin, drawing out the anatomy with a Sharpie pen and painting it with acrylics, sometimes taking up to nine hours to complete. When it's finished, the designs simply peel off.
Inspired from the recent creation of his girlfriend's gruesome Halloween costume, the 25-year-old from Massachusetts, continued to use liquid latex and Sharpie markers to create his anatomical drawings after her 'costume' went viral.
