The China Artists Association presented an exhibition titled Ink - Chinese Dream at the National Arts Club in New York City, featuring 30 original works by 16 leading artists through Nov 2.

From portraits to scenery, flowers and birds, the works highlighted traditional Chinese ink painting by artists including Liu Dawei, Wu Changjiang, Du Ziling and Li Yang, as well as works that use Western-style oil and other materials. It is an exhibition to show Western audiences the beauty and meaning of traditional ink painting interpreted by contemporary Chinese artists who are reinventing this ancient tradition.

The exhibition was part of China Artists Association's "Chinese art touring the world", which has brought Chinese artists' works to a dozen countries in Europe, the United States and Africa since 2008.
