Emotional images

Fans of Araki Nobuyoshi can go to Times Museum in Guangzhou to flip through the exhibited 120 photos to explore the Japanese photographer's intimate emotions for his wife. While some photographers try to strike a strong visual impact and arouse the imagination of a story through a single photo, Nobuyoshi is known for building a story through a great number of photos, presenting a series as a book. The photos displayed at Times Museum have a wide time span from 1971 to 2012. Nobuyoshi captures the departures of his wife and pet cat in a plain, sad tone.

10 am-6 pm, daily until June 9 (closed on Mondays). Times Museum, Times Rose Garden, Huangbian Beilu, Baiyun Avenue, Baiyun district, Guangzhou.
