A new wave of paintings

A Beijing exhibition will highlight a new wave in artists with pictures from the “ocean group’’. Li Haitao, Xiao Kai and 17 other artists will present their paintings on the marine theme, “Embrace the Ocean”.
The paintings depict the East China Sea, South China Sea and a general love for the ocean. The exhibition runs from from April 21 to May 2, at Beijing Capital Museum, No. 3, Guozijian Street, Dongcheng District. The highlight of the exhibition is a joint effort by 16 artists from across China called Fisherman’s Song which has just been completed.
