Blues Saturday
As part of the April Band Extravaganza at Dada, this Saturday will showcase the rhythms of celebrated Hong Kong blues guitarist Tommy Chung and his band. Chung is credited with being the city's most-recorded blues artist. Groove along while relaxing with one of Dada's signature cocktails as you soak in the surrealistic atmosphere of a lounge devoted to Dadaism.
10:45 pm, April 27. Dada Bar + Lounge, 2/F The Luxe Manor, 39 Kimberley Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. 852-3763-8778
Art and consequence
Le French May kicks off with an artist in residence program at Osage Atelier. Curated by Amandine Hervey of Mur Nomade, A Game of Consequence shows the working progress of artists in residence Frenchman Regis Gonzalez and Hong Kong's Tsang Chui-mei. During their two weeks in the studio, they will collaborate on a 20-meter-long wall painting using a surrealistic method inspired by the parlor game Consequence, where words or images are collectively assembled.
Artist talk at 3 pm on April 27; exhibition 10:30 am-7 pm. April 27-30. Osage Atelier, 4/F Union Hing Yip Building, 20 Hing Yip Street, Kwun Tong. 852-2793-4817

Their synergy and unique interpretations of their crafts result in a dynamic visual feast.
