The National Center for the Performing Arts is presenting Beautiful China, a symphony concert of soundtracks from classic Chinese documentaries, on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
Produced by CCTV-9, the documentary channel, and the NCPA, the concert will present the scores of 14 nonfiction smash-hits such as The Forbidden City and A Bite of China.
Under the baton of Lu Jia, the concert will feature a huge LED screen playing scenes from the documentaries to allow the audience to understand the ideas behind the melodies.
