Fantastic four

Four young international artists - Chinese Xiao Min, Zhang Biying, Pan Luomin and German Marco Stifel - use various media to express their perspectives on the urban jungle. The artists all live in metropolises, and this has influenced their work.

Hilarious journeys

Acclaimed Taiwan theater director Stan Lai is bringing his performance workshop theater group Crosstalk Travelers to Shanghai. Two veteran actors and cross-talk artists will present colorful stories about travel.

Going solo

Taiwan pop singer Shin will give a concert in Shanghai. Shin is the stage name of Su Chien-hsin, the former lead vocalist of the namesake band Shin, who's now pursuing a solo career. Shin has created many national hits that are karaoke staples in the country.

Lives of migrants

Renmin Road is a main street in downtown Changsha, Hunan province. Using his camera, photographer Ouyang Xingkai has documented the lives of migrant workers under the flyover of Renmin Road. He recorded their work, payment and leisure, and won their trust to be invited to their temporary lodging adapted from a deserted office building. The exhibition presents 300 pictures and an installation project to represent the true living conditions of the workers.

Creative circle

Queen LiLi's Garden is a group video and photography exhibition by artists Bird Head, Chen Xiaoyun, Geng Jianyi, Liang Yue, Sun Xun and Yang Fudong. A diverse group of artists and their idiosyncratic styles form an exhibition that is harmonious and quiet yet captivating.
