Ten young Chinese award-winning violinists, including three Italian Paganini Violin Competition golden award winners, Lu Siqing (pictured), Huang Bin and Ning Feng, performed together in Beijing at a concert produced by director Lang Kun from China Central Television. A variety of works, including the classical Butterfly Lovers, Chinese hot song Disturbing, which swept the Internet in 2011, and the popular Gangnam Style, were performed in violin, supported by instruments such as erhu and matouqin (horse-head fiddle). Award winning conductor Lin Daye and the China Philharmonic Orchestra also shared the stage. The show was broadcast on CCTV music channel on Dec 22.
