Galerie Perrotin presents the works of Japanese artist Aya Takano (Heaven Is Inside of You and Many), and Indian artist Bharti Kher (Many, More Than Before) in concurrent solo shows. Once part of Takashi Murakami's production studio, Takano's art is at once erotic and childlike, with references to anime and the Italian Renaissance. Kher's paintings, sculpture and installations deal with the nature of things, elevating saris to the level of female totems.
