Chinese art market discussed at forum

The 3rd China Art Market Summit Forum 2012 was held on Dec 22 at the Asia Hotel in Beijing.
Hosted by 99 Art Network, the forum had the theme “The change and sustainable development of the art market”. The three topics discussed were “The auction market — new performance and new challenge”;“Market development — new policy and new strategy”; and “Art collection — new opportunities and new problems.”
More than 200 experts from academic institutes, auction houses and art galleries attended the forum.
The forum also announced the annual art market awards, including Annual Art Gallery, Annual Auction and Annual Figure.
