The exhibition Fusion and Transcendence showcases works by art teachers and students as well as professional painters. On display are Chinese ink paintings, oils, watercolors, prints and designs selected out of more than 5,000 submissions nationwide. The highlights include Zhang Chun's color ink painting Encounter, Feng Xiaofeng's sculpture Dawn and a joint lacquer painting Excellence and Charm by Chen Baliang and Chen Bakai. They exemplify the artistic landscape of the young Chinese and the current cultural and social trends among the new generation.
