UNESCO reviews heritage protection

A review on UNESCO's global strategy for strengthening national capacities for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage was recently staged in Beijing. Sixteen experts from around the world, eight culture specialists from different UNESCO offices and six observers from China joined the meeting. The event was hosted by the International Training Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia and the Pacific Region, which was established in Beijing in 2010.
