A demonstration event for North China’s intangible cultural heritage will be held at the Beiding Goddess Temple near the Olympic Center from Sep 19 to 21.

Co-organized by the China Ethnic Culture and Art Foundation, the Beijing Bureau of Cultural Heritage, the Capital Museum Union and the Beijing Museum Association, the event has attracted 14 museum participants from Beijing, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Hebei.

The event will have performances and exhibitions by nearly 30 intangible cultural heritage inheritors, covering several areas such as folk opera, folk dance and handicraft.
