Printing Industry creates an imaginary space. The exhibition is arranged like a newspaper-publishing house. Mimeograph newspapers are suspended on strings, waiting for distribution after airing. The Oil Calendar News is a fictional newspaper. The paper, which contains both English and Japanese text, chronicles the events of June 2011. The concept comes from artist Peter Zhang's dream. Through the installation, he intends to show that the events of the past will happen in another latitude of the world.
Until May 6. Gallery 55, Building 4A-112, 50 Moganshan Lu, Shanghai. 021-6266-4108.
