Tibetan writer Tsering Norbu, born and raised in Lhasa, weaves the mesmerizing world of religion and death in Tibet into his stories. His Lu Xun Literature Prize-winning A Sheep Released to Life, anthologized in the second issue of Pathlight, narrates an old Tibetan's efforts to help his dead wife achieve rebirth.
