20 countries will participate in Expo 2019 Beijing

New platform for international communicationin green industries

During the expo, there will be no less than 100 official participants, 100 non-official exhibitors and 16 million visitors, according to Wang Jinzhen, Commissioner General of Expo 2019 Beijing.

It will be a big stage for the world horticultural industry, equipped with new species,new technologies and good outcomes in business exchanges and trades,as well as having far-reaching influence.

The expo park is divided into European, Asian, African, American and Oceania and other international institution areas. Each area has 1000 to 3000 square meters of

outdoor garden, and 50 to 200 square meters of indoor area.

During the expo, participants can organize their themed exhibitions,carry out business discussions and hold professional forums and other activities, to promote their product and techniques.

The exhibition area adopts modern design techniques, which will be integrated into the scientific and technological elements, and breed a mixture of local tree species and new species, showing a colorful, diverse scenery.

The international museum occupies 13,200 square meters of exhibition area, where the shared exhibition areas and individual areas for countries will be gathered together. The shared areas will be designed in a uniformed style, while the individual areas will design their booths by themselves.

There will be another 10 booths set aside for international organizations and enterprises as well as booths prepared for renowned international enterprises, for their round exhibitions.

Wang Jinzhen, Commissioner General of Expo 2019 Beijing said the significances of Expo 2019 Beijing can be embodied in the following three levels:

The first one is on a country-wide level, as 2019 is the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a well-organized Expo 2019 Beijing will show China's efforts in ecological civilization construction and international cooperation.

The second level is economic significance, as Expo 2019 Beijing is expected to boost Beijing's green economy, technology, cultural and tourism industries, and infrastructure construction.

The third is scientific, cultural and social significance. Expo 2019 Beijing is not only a display of gardening, but also a national science and technology exhibition and cultural exchange event. Visitors can experience the beauty of horticulture.
