NW China landslide kills 4, injures 1

LANZHOU - Four died and another was injured after a landslide buried two buildings in northwest China's Gansu Province, said local government on Monday.
The landslide occurred at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, destroying two low-rise residential buildings in Wudu District, Longnan City, said the district government.
More than 200 rescuers pulled five people from the debris in search efforts that ended Sunday evening.
A 75-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man died immediately. Two of the other three injured people were in serious condition and died despite treatment.
The cause of the landslide is being investigated.
