On Wednesday morning, more than a thousand Muslims gathered at Doudian Mosque in Beijing to celebrate Eid al-Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
Led by Ma Jiacheng, the 26-year-old imam of the mosque, they have completed the special prayers.
Muslims around China are eligible for a day off on Eid al-Fitr.
After prayers, people queued up to receive meals prepared for the special occasion as a celebration.
For Abudulkadeer and Milun from Algeria, it is their first Eid al-Fitr in Beijing after working near Doudian Mosque for three months and they are loving it.
