Six kindergarten teachers blocked classroom doors with their bodies and saved over 100 students from a fierce tornado and storm in East China's Jiangsu province on June 23.
Eight injured kids are receiving treatment while one child died in emergency treatment.
Despite being injured, the teachers are still holding the forts at the Jiqiao kindergarten in Funing county of Yancheng city while others are staying with the wounded kids at the hospital.
The total death toll caused by the tornado has climbed to 99 and left 846 others injured, local authorities said on Sunday.
