6.2-magnitude quake jolts waters off Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING -- A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit a sea area of Yilan county in Taiwan at a depth of 15 kilometers at 11:17 a.m. Beijing Time on Thursay, according to China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 24.71 degrees north latitude and 122.00 degrees east longitude.
