The newly-established Beijing New Media Group has launched China's first 24-hour live broadcast news app recently.
Called Beijing Time, the app features hourly news broadcast from one of its 18 in-studio anchorwomen, as well as on-the-spot reports from more than 800 reporters and freelancers.
It will also feature live broadcasts of the blossoming of flowers from across China via more than 200 cameras for more than half the year.
The Beijing New Media Group was co-founded by Beijing Media Network and Beijing Cultural Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
