Han, Party chief of Shanghai, highlights the importance of the Internet in officials' daily work. He also attaches high importance to the development of new media relating to the Internet.
Han said he spends two to three hours every day surfing the Internet for information at late night. Officials will also collect either criticism or appraisals on his work for him to know.
In May last year, Han interacted with grassroots startup entrepreneurs, scholars, researchers, college students and foreigners on three local news sites shobserver.com, kankanews.com, thepaper.cn on their opinion of constructing the city's innovation center.
