Former Sichuan vice governor under probe

BEIJING -- Li Chengyun, former vice governor of Southwest China's Sichuan province, is under investigation for suspected disciplinary violations, the anti-graft authority said Saturday.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China issued the statement on its website, with no further details.
