China launches first Myanmar-language newspaper

KUNMING - China's first Myanmar-language newspaper has been launched in southwest China's Yunnan Province to serve the Myanmar people working in China.
Paukphaw, which means friendship between the Chinese and Myanmar people, is published by the Tuanjie Newspaper of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, which borders Myanmar.
There are currently more than 50,000 Myanmar people working in Dehong.The weekly newspaper will be handed freely to them. The first edition was published on Friday.
