Down jacket bought last year arrived this Double 11 season
If you received your Singles Day packages on time this year, you should give a thumbs up to your carrier, especially given the experience of one woman in Xiaoshan district, Hangzhou of East China's Zhejiang province.
The woman, surnamed Lai, was called on Nov 19 to receive a package, which she thought was what she bought on Nov 11, only to find that it was a down jacket she bought on Nov 19 of last year, xsnet.cn reported on Wednesday.
Lai said that she bought the down jacket for her mother last year and told the seller to exchange it for a smaller one before sending it back. The seller resent the down jacket to Lai but the package was "being distributed" as shown in the delivery company's record in the following week.
Lai asked that particular delivery man who, unfortunately, could not remember the whole thing and Lai gave up seeking until her package reappeared this November.
The package may have been rediscovered in the warehouse, since it is common for lost or overstocked packages to get lost in the mess when nearly one million of them are transferred in Xiaoshan district every day, xsnet.cn quoted a delivery man from YTO Express as saying.
In our final story, two million bees are let loose on an expressway.
