Man sneaks a lighter in his mouth onto plane
Previously a woman tried to carry a fruit knife in her hair as an "accessory" past airport security. About one and half months later, a similar scenario happened at the same airport, but this time, it was a man hiding a lighter in his mouth.
A man tried to take his lighter on board a flight at the Kunming Changshui International Airport on Nov 23 by sneaking it in his mouth and keeping silent until he was asked to drink water from his bottle, a local news release Sina Weibo account reported.
The lighter cannot be taken on board as it contains flammable gas, according to the Provisions of the Civil Aviation Administration of China on the Administration of Transport of Dangerous Goods By Air (2015).
The man was denied entry onto the flight and fined 1,000 yuan ($156.50).
