Hebei provincial Party chief under probe

BEIJING - Zhou Benshun, Party chief of North China's Hebei province, is under investigation for suspected "severe violation of discipline and the law", the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said Friday.
Zhou is also chairman of the Standing Committee of Hebei Provincial People's Congress.
