Shaukat Aziz, Pakistan's former Prime Minister, said, it is the Chinese people themselves who feel most deeply the fruits of development under Xi's governance.
He maintained that as a guest and friend of China, he is very confident that Xi will take China to the next higher level with greater results.
Aziz also believed that President Xi is a man of global vision and there is a whole philosophy and thinking behind his vision.
President Xi is a true global leader, Aziz added, and the world needs more leaders like him having the vision and a lot of focuses on key issues, while being able to motivate the people and world at large to move ahead.
Aziz added the "Belt and Road" Initiative is a global strategy to strengthen the interconnectivity of different countries and regions, since the world today is very interdependent, and no one can live in isolation.
The "Belt and Road" Initiative refers to the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, proposed in 2013 by President Xi with the goal of reviving ancient trade routes between Asia and Europe. The network passes through more than 60 countries and regions, with a total population of 4.4 billion.
