Head of performing arts group under graft probe

BEIJING - Gu Xin, board chairman and general manager of China Oriental Performing Arts Group, is being investigated for "alleged serious violation of discipline and law, " the Communist Party of China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said on Thursday.
Gu, 59, is a renowned tenor and a national political advisor.
