A teahouse in a tree
People in Northwest China's Qinghai have found a unique place to hang out in the hot summer: they put tables and tea sets inside the hollowed-out center of an 800-year-old white elm, to rest in its shade.
The tree cave allows four to five people to sit in it at the same time. It is very large and takes eight people stretching their arms to surround its circumference. Although its pith has died, the tree is still growing and has luxuriant branches.
