Fitness fan sheds weight
Xia Yan, a senior at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Anqing city, East China's Anhui province, has lost 45 kilograms from 95 kilograms through working out in the past three years, and is now a fitness trainer, Anhui-based Jianghuai Morning Post reported.
Xia, 21, 170cm tall, began losing weight in 2011 summer after entering college. Before that, due to prolonged exercise as a painting major student preparing for national entrance exam, and as excessive fat compressed nerves in her cervical spine, she fainted two times during high school years.
