Seven killed in SW China landslides

GUIYANG -- Seven people have died after rainstorm-triggered landslides hit two townships in southwest China's Guizhou province.
Downpours lashed Xishui county on Saturday night and Sunday, with more than 150 mm of rainfall in areas surrounding Xingmin and Tongmin townships, local authorities said Monday.
Landslides occurred in Longxing and Tongmin townships. Rescue work is under way.
On Aug 10 and 11, rainstorms swept Xishui county, leaving nine dead and nine missing.
