BEIJING - The 20th China-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Senior Officials' Consultation will be held in Thailand on Monday and Tuesday, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said on Thursday.
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin will lead a delegation to attend the meeting in Pattaya, said spokeswoman Hua Chunying, adding the officials will also hold the seventh meetings on implementing the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea.
The parties will exchange views on China-ASEAN relations, East Asian cooperation and international and regional issues of common concern, Hua told a news briefing.
The Chinese side will communicate with ASEAN members on promoting pragmatic cooperation and consulting on the Code of Conduct on the South China Sea, Hua said.
