China, Vietnam hold working group meeting

HANOI - Chinese and Vietnamese representatives met in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Wednesday and Thursday for the second session of the working group for consultation on joint maritime development.
During the meeting, Yi Xianliang, deputy director-general of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs under the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tran Duy Hai, deputy head of the National Border Committee under the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs exchanged views on further promoting joint maritime development.
The two sides agreed to abide by the consensus reached by the two countries' leaders, to continue boosting maritime cooperation and joint development between China and Vietnam in order to make substantial progresses soon.
