A Chongqing courier and a customer ended up brawling after the courier had the customer run down seven flights of stairs three times within 10 minutes to pick up three separate packages, Chongqing Morning News reported on March 25.
The customer, surnamed Chen, got into a fight with the express-delivery man, surnamed Jin. Chen told police that Jin was unreasonable to make him go up and down the stairs multiple times for his three packages, which were sent to the same name and address. Jin defended himself as a new employee not familiar with the proper procedure.
Both men were injured in the fight, and Chen damaged Jin's motorcycle. After mediation by police, Chen agreed to pay 1,000 yuan ($160) to cover the damage.
