Nanjing confirms H7N9 bird flu case

A case of H7N9 bird flu was confirmed in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, on Wednesday, Modern Express reported.
The patient is a 54-year-old woman, surnamed Qu, who is being treated in a hospital.
It is the second H7N9 case reported in Nanjing in six months.
Shanghai confirmed a H7N9 bird flu case on Jan 4 while another was reported in Zhejiang province on Monday.
By the end of Wednesday, Guangdong province had confirmed 10 H7N9 bird flu cases. One of the cases was fatal while two other patients were discharged from hospital.
