A research base for innovative policy evaluation was recently established at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
The base will work as Shanghai's soft science base and think-tank for government decisions covering public affairs management, technology and academic research and policy consultation, according to Hu Wei, president of the School of International and Public Affairs at the university.
By evaluating innovative policies, the research base will further promote the city's innovation development, Hu said.
