5 missing in central China ship collision

CHANGSHA - Five people are missing after two ships collided and sank in a river in Central China's Hunan province on Wednesday night, the local maritime department said Thursday.
The two ships carrying sand sank in Xiangjiang River in Xiangyin county in the city of Yueyang, according to the Hunan provincial maritime department.
Rescue work is under way. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
