A series of anti-graft-themed cartoons created by farmers are being shown on the website of the country's top anti-corruption agency.

The cartoons, created by farmers in Qiuxian county, Hebei province, were posted on the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China in early September.

Wang Qishan, head of the commission, praised the farmers' illustrations, the Chengdu Business Daily reported.

The farmers in Qiuxian county started creating cartoons and illustrations three decades ago and almost all of the county's 218 villagers have made anti-graft cartoons, said the report.

Statistics released by the county's disciplinary agency show that the rate of whistle-blowing incidents has dropped 21 percent this year compared with the same period last year.
