Rail officials removed after fatal Qinghai collision

Two senior officials at the Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company have been removed from their posts after a train collision killed one passenger and injured another 51 on Wednesday, 21st Century Business Herald reported.
The officials are Bao Chuxiong, general manager of the company, and Wang Xinwen, its Party chief.
Wang Zhongyu, the former executive vice-general manager, has taken over as general manager.
The collision happened when an empty train crashed into a stationary passenger train outside a station in Qinghai province.
