Senior official probed for suspected violations

BEIJING - Liao Shaohua, a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is under investigation for suspected severe violations of disciplines and laws.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China made the announcement on Monday. No further details were provided.
Liao is also Party secretary of Zunyi city in Guizhou.
