Love is in the air for cargo planes

More than 100 cargo planes, owned by the country's major express companies, will be on flights of romance on Nov 11, Singles Day, zjol.com.cn reported.

The expected number of cargo planes set to be in use delivering in the cause of romance was provided by statistics from Tmall, one of Alibaba's marketplaces, the report said.

Many young Chinese people celebrate Singles Day, also know as Double Eleven, on Nov 11.

The report said purchasing cargo planes for thriving businesses has now become a common trend among domestic major express companies.

For instance, up to four cargo planes owned by YT Express have been put into operation for daily cargo transport and the company plans to have another two aircraft next year, the report said.
